Kylie Minogue made her name in the Australian soap Neighbours before leaving the show to become a recording artist. Her early work was classic 80s bubblegum pop, with tracks like I Should Be So Lucky achieving worldwide success.

As time passed, Kylie has reinvented herself and her musical styles many times over, and her popularity had waned somewhat until she returned with the number one hit Spinning Around. Following on from this success, 2002's international smash hit Can't Get You out of My Head sent her career into orbit.

Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, and took a break from her career to receive treatment and convalesce.

Minogue has now triumphantly returned to the world stage, and in addition to resuming her previously cancelled tour, she released her tenth studio album, X, on 26 November 2007 and remains one of the hottest properties in pop music.
