A guide to the enclosures;
Best Mate Enclosure – The Best Mate enclosure is Cheltenham’s best value ticket and offers fantastic views of the racing directly opposite the main grandstand and adjacent to the finish line.
Tattersalls Enclosure – be close up to the Winners’ Enclosure, stand by the Winning Post and get stunning views from the Tattersalls grandstand viewing steps.
Club Enclosure – Cheltenham’s best enclosure for Festival week, it’s an experience to remember with access to all public areas and spectacular views across the course.
Guinness Grandstand Seats – the Guinness Grandstand gives racegoers a dedicated seat for the day, offering an excellent view of the races and the final fence.

Whilst there is no formal dress code in place, many do like to dress up for the Festival. Cheltenham Racecourse is the Home of Jump Racing and The Cheltenham Festival is home to some of the finest racing in the world, and with the finest racing often comes the finest fashion.
The festival is a four day celebration of world class racing, countryside tradition and unmistakable race day style. Unlike the formality of some flat racing meetings, Cheltenham blends heritage fashion with relaxed elegance, creating a unique atmosphere where style meets sport.
Men’s Race Day Style – There is no strict dress code at Cheltenham, but tradition and heritage strongly influence how people dress. Most men opt for smart, tailored outfits that feel refined without being overly formal.
Women’s Race Day Style – Cheltenham is the perfect place to blend elegance with practicality. While there is no enforced dress code, the Festival is known for sophisticated, weather ready fashion that feels luxurious but wearable.
Please note that your E-tickets will be sent to you as a PDF attachment, 7 days before the race event date.
Racegoers are encouraged to leave their luggage and any other large items at home or in their hotel and not to bring such items into the racecourse. All bags will be searched upon entry which may delay your entry into the racecourse. Bag of an appropriate size for a day out will be allowed into the enclosures. Large bags such as suitcases, holdalls, and rucksacks will not be granted entry and racegoers will be invited to use the Left Luggage facilities which are located external to the enclosures before the bag search locations.
Gates open at 10:30 on each of the four days of the Festival. First race at 13:30 and the last race at 17:30.
