Citizens is the restaurant option, KITS is the sports bar, and The Green Room is a small suite alongside the matchday studio. Hospitality areas open three hours before kick-off and stay open for an hour after the match. KITS is the exception, opening two hours before in line with the general turnstiles. The dress code is relaxed: no shorts or caps, but City shirts are welcome in the bars. Away colours are not permitted in any hospitality area. The Etihad Stadium
City moved to the Etihad in 2003 after eighty years at Maine Road, and the club’s own lineage runs back further still, to a church team formed in west Gorton in 1880 that became Ardwick and then, in 1894, Manchester City.
The Pep Guardiola Stand behind one goal was expanded and renamed in 2026 for the manager who defined the club’s most successful era, and it added several thousand seats including a large rail-seating section. The Colin Bell Stand runs down one side, with the East and South Stands completing the bowl. The Etihad Campus Metrolink stop is at the ground itself, which makes it one of the easiest grounds in the country to reach and to leave.
